Have you ever avoided emotions because they’re uncomfortable?

Have you ever had to face consequences for choices you made to survive?

Do you feel like you’re repeatedly making poor decisions and you’re not sure why?

LET’S HAVE COFFEE

I love cats. I love coffee. I firmly believe Schitt’s Creek is a coping mechanism. I also have an unconditional belief in the clients that I see. I believe that if you want change in your life, you have the power to change. If you want to grow into a better version, you’re in control of that. I want all of my clients to see that they are worthy of love and connection. I want my clients to learn the difference between safety and danger, and how to limit the story we tell ourselves when we believe we are in danger. I find opportunities to practice vulnerability, expand tolerance for discomfort, and connect the mind and body. I’m right there doing the work with you (and sometimes, so are my cats.)

Humans don’t like discomfort. Without training ourselves to deal with discomfort, we will often do anything to get out of it. You’ve probably dealt with so much bullshit in life. You won’t get that in therapy. I’m direct, with a hint of sarcasm. We will use a lot of humor to get through some tough conversations, but I won’t avoid discomfort, and I will teach you how to handle discomfort.

We are always working together to build self-confidence and trust in yourself. Trusting yourself is going to have a domino effect in multiple areas of your life. Having confidence to say no, feel emotions, connect your mind and body, find your purpose, and be able to heal and break free from any trauma that’s running your life.

MY APPROACH

This may feel really overwhelming. You may be at your breaking point. It doesn’t have to end there.

We will take things step by step. You are in control of your transformation. When you show up to heal, we sit with discomfort. Overcoming discomfort is going to build your confidence. Confidence is going to create motivation to make better decisions. Awareness is going to help notice poor behavior patterns. Understanding behavior patterns allow you to overcome obstacles.
